A good array of locally caught wet fish and a superb take away with outside covered seating. Was recommended to us as the best fish and chips in town and we would agree.
Great fish and chips

Service at the Co-Op is friendly and helpful and the fish is MAGNIFICENTLY FRESH. If you have a special occasion coming up, the cooked lobster is absolutely delicious.
We came to buy a selection of fish and seafood for a BBQ later that day. The choice was first class, and the service good. The fish was very fresh, and we enjoyed the snapper cutlets, the marlin steak and the prawns. Delicious!
My wife and I ordered grilled swordfish. It took some time until it was done, but then we each got a nicely grilled piece about the size of a T Bone steak. Our daughter liked the salad. It might not be the place for a formal dinner but if you are hungry for fish at a reasonable price it’s certainly worth going there.
Our family of 4 tucked into one of the better fish n chips we have had for a long time. Nice crisp batter (not soggy, oily, or smoothed). We had a selection trawler whiting, flake, calamari, sea scallops, potato scallops, and chips all beautifully cooked, and with great taste of the seafood
Best fish & chips we ever had. The Dinner Pack was just huge for two, but you just can’t stop eating! Lovely and crisp chips, and the fish was exceptional. Only draw-back was the very small decking outside, which was too crowded and hard to find a vacant table. Unless of course you take your fish & chips and eat them somewhere else. Everything was as fresh as seafood should be. Straight off the boat! Next time we’ll try the mixed seafood.
Best cooked fish and chips I have had in so long and I live in a fishing town. Fish was fresh and cooked to perfection.
Covid restrictions in place. Their fish and chips are done to your liking? No complaints from me.
Clean eating area to sit and eat, give it a thought for an easy meal and place to eat.
In terms of options nice to see that they had fresh seafood but can also eat there. There are seats outside for you to eat and can enjoy the ocean breeze.
The fish is nicely battered and fried perfectly. The fried squid also delightful. Freshly shucked rock oysters are nice and creamy. All at reasonable prices. Only negative was the serving sizes were so generous we needed more of that tartar sauce.
Heaps of choice of fresh fish to cook at home. We got the $35 family basket – nice variety, plenty to eat, fast service, great taste. A good way to end a day out in the town before heading home again.
